These Louis Vuitton x adidas NMD Hu Customs Will Cost You A Bomb

Limited edition sneakers may be all the rage these days, but they’ve got nothing on these latest custom sneakers by New York-based artist Ceeze.

Combining the luxurious leather prints of Louis Vuitton on an adidas NMD Hu, the pair will set you back far more than the current resale prices of the latest adidas NMD “Solar Hu”.

The prints are taken from the darker “Eclipse” monogram print, repurposed from an LV 45mm Keepall Duffle Bag.

The customs are available now from Ceeze  for a cool US$2,850, which will take 3-4 months to complete and will require you to provide the base pair.

Should you require Ceeze to source for the base, that price will increase by US$200 –  a decent price for an NMD Hu.

Take a closer look at the custom pair below.

Here’s A First Look At Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton Sneaker

Since the appointment of Off-White founder Virgil Abloh as the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear department, it was only a matter of time before we got our first look at an LV sneaker from the designer.

Shortly after LV revealed sketches, we now have our first look at the luxury footwear, courtesy of Mathias Patillon, the fashion house’s head of design for men’s footwear.

Rapper A$AP Rocky has also been spotted wearing the sneaker in Paris, as confirmed by Instagram page @vlonevogue.

The silhouette features a grey sole, white and red panels, with the VUITTON branding.

For the upper, the shoe mainly consists of black and white panels with dark laces, the number “408” on the sides and a silver strap to complete the design.

Here’s A Sneak Peak At Virgil Abloh’s Designs of His Louis Vuitton Sneaker

Ever since Off-White founder Virgil Abloh was appointment as artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear collection in March 2018, many have been anticipating his take on luxury streetwear at the label.

Thanks to a series of Instagram Stories by Louis Vuitton’s official page, we now have a glimpse of Abloh’s first sneaker at the fashion house.

From the Stories, it appears that the sneaker will be a mid-top, taking on a similar construction to an Air Jordan 4 with Abloh’s own interpretations.

LV’s logo is prominently featured on the side of the shoe under the laces, with additional branding motifs located on the midsole towards the heel.

Here are some screenshots of the Stories from Louis Vuitton’s official Instagram page.

If you’d like to watch it for yourself, the clips have been saved under LV’s Highlights section of its Instagram account.

This Supreme x Louis Vuitton Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Is Up For Sale at US$190,000

As with most communities, there are various degrees of hype-mania.

However, the son of a billionaire in Dubai took “flexing” to a whole new level when he purchased a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and wrapped it in the motifs of the Supreme x LV collaboration.

The 15-year-old, who goes by Money Kicks on YouTube, made headlines last summer when he showcased his supposed work of art, which has since amassed millions of viewers to his channel. Too young to drive it, he had a chauffeur to drive him around – why, of course he did.

Either way, the car is now listed for sale on Deals on Wheels in Dubai, for a cool 699,000 Emirati dollars or approximately US$190,000.

Check it out below.

Check Out Craig David’s Custom-Made Louis Vuitton x adidas NMD R1

Craig David may be an international pop artist, but he will probably make the headlines this week for something else entirely – his newly unveiled custom-made Louis Vuitton x adidas NMD R1.

Made by popular sneaker customiser Sneakersnbonsai, the two pairs of NMD R1s brings to life what a probably collaboration between LV and adidas would look like.

[caption id="attachment_9221" align="alignnone" width="1000"] Image: Sneakersnbonsai[/caption]

The sneakers take adidas’ popular silhouette and blends it with notable LV branding elements such as dark brown leather with the fashion house’s iconic logo and motifs.

The customised NMD R1s came in two pairs, one in a predominantly white colourway alongside a darker brown one.

As this isn’t an official collaboration, these shoes are literally one of a kind, but if you have a decent sneaker customiser on your contact list, it may be worth a shot.

Take a closer look below.

Crowd Amasses At ION Orchard For Louis Vuitton x Supreme Raffle Queue

Although the official queue time for the LV x Supreme raffle started at 7am, hundreds were already gathered outside the popular shopping mall from the night before.

The queue, of course, was for the opportunity to get a ballot number, auto-generated at random by an iPad. Any number between 1 to 350 would make its holder eligible for a raffle ticket to the collection’s drop on Friday.

Since then, many of the lucky 350 balloters have begun posting their raffle tickets online.
