Here’s A Sneak Peak At The adidas UltraBOOST “CNY 2019”

adidas ultraboost cny 2019 chinese new year

While sneaker trends can be awfully unpredictable, one constant remains throughout recent history: Chinese New Year-themed sneakers are hot.

The best part yet, it appears that we finally have an all-red adidas UltraBOOST for CNY next year, a departure from previous years which used a blend of red and black weaves on the uppers.

Popular Asian American author and chef Eddie Huang took to Instagram to show off the pair, giving us the first look ever at the pair.

As shown in the images below, the Chinese symbol for fortune can be found on the heel counter, while a panda icon is placed on the tongue.

Cutting through the bold red hues are accents of yellow on the lace tips and the inner lining of the lace cage.

Here’s An Official Look at the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Static”

After several teases by Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian, we’ve had a firm grasp of how the upcoming slate of adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2s would look like.

The upcoming “Static” colourway takes on a mostly white and grey colour scheme, but it is the translucent stripe on its upper that gives it a refreshing look – the first time the silhouette has included a see-through material.

US retailer Stadium Goods released official images of the pair, giving us our best look yet at the shoes.

Slated to be released in December, the shoes will join a long portfolio of highly-desired sneakers from the ever fruitful partnership between adidas and West.

Check it out below.

Off-White x Converse Chuck 70 Drops in Singapore on Oct 9

The second collaboration between Off-White and Converse is making its way to Singapore on October 9.

This time, the pair sheds off its translucent upper and takes on a more traditional approach, using a canvas-ridden upper on the Chuck 70 model.

Virgil Abloh’s touch is apparent throughout the shoe, with his unique embellishments shining front and centre. Off-White’s popular stripes make their way onto the midsoles of the pair while trademark labelling can be found on the laces.

A splash of orange can be found on the outsole as well as the plastic tag on the laces.

The shoe will be released in Singapore via Limited Edt Vault and Dover Street Market Singapore. They will retail for S$209.90.

The raffle for DSM’s in-store release has already begun, with entries closing on October 5 at 5pm.
