adidas Releases The Ultra BOOST in “Crystal White”

adidas has released a new colourway for its popular Ultra BOOST 3.0 silhouette in “Crystal White”.

The sneakers feature an all white Primeknit upper, similar to the triple white rendition, with the exception of a greyed out BOOST midsole.

The cage comes in semi-translucent while the Continental outsole is decked out in white.

Finishing off the kicks is a chrome Ultra BOOST branding on the heel counter.

The Ultra BOOST 3.0 “Crystal White” is available now and is priced at US$180.

Here’s A First Look At The adidas NMD_R1 “Linen”

As a follow-up to last year’s NMD_XR1 “Linen”, adidas is applying the much-loved colour scheme to the R1 silhouette.

The kicks features tan tones throughout its body, from a lighter shade on the Primeknit upper to a darker shade of linen tan on the heel cap, outer sole, midsole caps, the three stripes and lacing eyelets.

The Primeknit R1 features a sock collar with both shades of tan and an overall sleek aesthetic for any occasion. Finishing of the light khaki look is of course adidas’ proprietary BOOST technology midsole.

The sneakers are expected to drop on May 19 at a retail price of US$180.

Stay tuned for more updates on its release. In the meantime, feast your eyes with a first look below.

Could This Be The adidas Originals YEEZY BOOST 650 V1?

Update: According to credible source Yeezy Mafia, the kicks were a legit project that was abandoned a year ago. More details below.

===

Alleged images of the YEEZY BOOST 650 V1 has surfaced online, with Instagram user @s.sam.group revealing the design.

A post shared by @s.sam.group on

The silhouette looks similar to its 350 brethren with the exception of a higher cut collar and a never-seen-before colourway.

As with previous YEEZY BOOST footwear, the 650 retains a Primeknit upper and ribbed BOOST midsole.

[caption id="attachment_4308" align="alignnone" width="1080"] Image: @s.sam.group[/caption] [caption id="attachment_4309" align="alignnone" width="1080"] Image: @s.sam.group[/caption]

Unlike the 350 V2, the 650 appears to take on a more monochromatic approach, with the leaked images showcasing a consistent pinkish hue throughout the sneaker.

Unfortunately, credible source Yeezy Mafia has taken to Twitter to say that the sneakers are legit but were an abandoned project from a year ago.

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

With the NMD R2 releasing just over a week ago, it appears that adidas isn’t overlooking its popular R1 silhouette just yet.

adidas Originals and wings+horns Unveil A Fresh Take On the NMD_R2

adidas Originals and Canada’s wings+horns are teaming up again for the third year in a row, and the pair have just revealed their full Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

While the collection includes apparel, the footwear has been garnering significant attention, particularly on its fresh take on the NMD_R2.

[caption id="attachment_4097" align="alignnone" width="960"] Image: adidas[/caption]

With a fresh coat of heather grey on its Primeknit upper, this iteration of the NMD_R2 has a unique and clean look to it. Along with this colourway is a dark grey one made from what appears to be leather.

[caption id="attachment_4100" align="alignnone" width="960"] Image: adidas[/caption]

The NMD_R2 isn’t the only silhouette in the collection, with the Campus 80 getting a makeover as well, with embroidered three-stripes and a single-piece construction on its upper.

No word yet on a Singapore release, but the footwear range is expected to drop in selected international retailers on April 27.

adidas To Release A “Triple Grey” UltraBOOST 3.0 In August

Following the much-coveted but extremely limited UltraBOOST 3.0 “Metallic Silver”, adidas is set to release an iteration in “Triple Grey”.

[caption id="attachment_4071" align="alignnone" width="940"] Image: adidas[/caption]

As the name suggests, the silhouette is covered in three shades of grey, including a greyed out BOOST midsole unit for a unique look.

The Primeknit upper takes on a lighter grey while a matte grey is applied on the cage, finished off with a chrome “UltraBOOST” branding at its heel counter.

The kicks are slated for an August 2017 release, with a rumoured price tag of US$180.

No word yet on whether there’ll be a Singapore release, but stay tuned for updates.

Introducing the adidas Futurecraft 4D, A Futuristic Footwear Made From Light & Oxygen

It takes a certain kind of crazy to propel society to new heights, and it appears that adidas is taking on the mantle of shaping the sneaker industry of tomorrow.

The German sportswear maker just unveiled the Futurecraft 4D, the first footwear in the world with midsoles made from light and oxygen using Carbon’s Digital Light Synthesis technology.

[caption id="attachment_4029" align="alignnone" width="1500"] Image: adidas[/caption]

If that doesn’t strike you as innovative, the technology puts 3D printing to shame, removing the need for prototyping and pushes the limits in terms of what’s possible in the manufacturing world.

The Digital Light Synthesis tech utilises light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and liquid resins, ultimately allowing adidas to control the entire manufacturing process from start to finish. This, in turn, enables adidas to tailor make footwear specifically catered towards movement, cushioning, stability and comfort preferences of each athlete.

[caption id="attachment_4026" align="alignnone" width="1500"] Image: adidas[/caption]

To kick things off, adidas will be releasing 300 pairs of the Futurecraft 4D for friends and family only. A general sale of 5,000 pairs will take place later this year.
