This adidas NMD R1 Is Set To Drop in February 2018

Say what you will about the NMD silhouette, adidas ain’t giving up on it just yet.

While it may not be as popular as it once was, this upcoming colourway may revive some interest in the silhouette in 2018.

Revealed by Yeezy Mafia, the colourway is dubbed “Blue Tint”, although it appears more cream than blue – a hint of blue does appear on the pull tab at its heel.

Regardless of its name, the NMD R1 PK “Blue Tint” is set to arrive in February 2018 with a monochromatic look. Its cream upper is matched by a similarly coloured EVA midsole plug, laces, Three Stripes and heel counter.

ZoukOut 2017 Proves It’s Still Singapore’s Premier Dance Festival

Asia’s largest beachfront festival played host to 40,000 attendees last weekend, the 17th edition of the longest running music festival in the region.

While most music festivals are marketed for its music (or lineup), ZoukOut proved that these events are so much more than that. Sure, the two-day party had legendary world-renowned DJs taking the stage from the likes of DJ Snake, Marshmello, Axwell Ingrosso, Flume, and R3HAB, complemented by the appearance of 88rising’s top hip hop artists Rich Chigga and Higher Brothers.

But with that prerequisite out of the way, ZoukOut truly excelled where many falter – it provided a full multi sensory experience.

[caption id="attachment_10861" align="alignnone" width="1000"] Image: Colossal Photos[/caption] [caption id="attachment_10860" align="alignnone" width="1000"] Image: Colossal Photos[/caption]

The event pulled all the stops for an unforgettable experience. Beyond the music, ZoukOut’s partnership with AJ Hackett saw attendees trying out a 50m bungy jump and vertical skywalk.

Of course, a worthy mention has to be made for the mega 3-D stage to fireworks and pyrotechnics, including ZoukOut’s world class visuals and sound, which were on tip top form on the two nights.

The same deep thought was also consistent throughout the whole event space, including sponsor booths from DBS Bank and Martell. Unlike other music festivals, we’d say the sponsor booths were equally as popular as any other spot for Instagrammers, so that’s a huge plus to the attention to detail paid by the organisers and the brands.

Aside from pulling off a great show, attendees were largely impressed with the smooth crowd control, with reasonable queueing time to enter the venue. Food stalls were well located and bars were aplenty, taking only a couple of minutes wait to get served.

All in all, ZoukOut may be one of the oldest music festivals in the region but it’s here to stay and we can’t wait for the next one.

With new music festivals cropping up from every corner each year, ZoukOut 2017 showed the region and the world why it is still an experience like no other.
