Sony To Launch “PlayStation Classic” Mini Console This December

At a time when everything old is new again, Sony has just announced that it too will be launching a new mini console that pays homage to the classic PlayStation that debuted in the 90s.

Dubbed the PlayStation Classic, the upcoming console will look identical to the original PlayStation with the addition of an HDMI port and a 45% reduction in size.

The console will come pre-loaded with 20 beloved games from the 90s such as Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Jumping Flash and Wild Arms.

The PlayStation Classic will arrive with two controllers, an HDMI cable and a USB cable to power the device.

It will be available in Singapore just in time for Christmas on December 3.

Carhatt WIP x Converse One Star Drops in Singapore on Sept 20

Carhatt WIP is teaming up with Converse once again, this time on a three-piece collection of the One Star silhouette.

The new collection, described as a fusion of utilitarian military inspiration with a contemporary design perspective, is expected to drop on September 20 in Singapore.

The three colourways are classic black, olive and white, featuring Cordura fabric uppers and a military-inspired bandolier heel stay webbing with D-ring hardware detail.

The collection will be released on Converse.com, Carhatt-wip.com, Dover Street Market Singapore and Limited Edt Vault.

How To Cop The adidas x Dragon Ball Z “Son Goku” and “Frieza” in Singapore on Sept 29

After months of speculation and rumours, adidas Originals has officially announced release details for its collaboration with beloved anime series Dragon Ball Z in Singapore.

The collection will feature seven adidas Original silhouettes, re-imagining three of the most iconic battles in the anime series in sneaker form.

Each drop will include two silhouettes (one hero, one villain), dropping monthly from September to December, starting off with Son Goku and Frieza on September 29.

The pairs will arrive in a special box and collecting all seven will create a singular back cover design, paying homage to the tapestry-like images found on the spines of original Dragon Ball Z magazines.

For the first drop, Son Goku will be represented in an adidas ZX 500 RM while Frieza’s sneaker will take the form of an adidas Originals Yung-1.

The ZX 500 RM “Son Goku” will retail at S$300 while the Yung-1 “Frieza” will be priced at S$230. The pairs will be available at adidas Originals Pacific Plaza, adidas VivoCity, Limited Edt and

adidas SG Officially Announces Collaboration With Dragon Ball Z, First Pair Drops End Sept

After months and months of speculation (more or less confirmed speculation at that), adidas SG has officially announced its collaboration with Dragon Ball Z.

The Three Stripes posted on Facebook earlier today with an image of Dragon Ball Z’s poster, along with an excerpt of what’s to come.

According to the post, the collaboration will feature seven silhouettes in total, “carefully chosen to represent the characteristics of the heroes and villains to which they refer.”

Additionally, the post confirms rumours that the first of the seven sneakers will be released later this month.

adidas Global has also released official images of the upcoming Dragon Ball Z x adidas ZM500 RM “Goku”, which is expected to the the said “first release” for the month.

UNDERCOVER x Nike React Element 97 Lands in DSM Singapore on Sep 14

As far as collaborations go, the upcoming UNDERCOVER x Nike React Element 87 has easily become one of the most talked about pairs in recent weeks.

Taking on the latest darling of the sneaker world – the Nike React Element 87 silhouette, the collaboration is set to turn heads with its funky colour schemes and look.

The collection made its debut at UNDERCOVER’s Paris Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2018 and takes inspiration from Nike’s portfolio of heritage running shoes, combined with newer innovations like the React foam sole.

Set to arrive in four colourways, the collaboration will drop in Singapore via Dover Street Market on September 14, 2018.

Each pair will be priced at S$259.

Besides DSM, Nike.com will be releasing the pairs a day earlier on Sep 13.

Off-White and Nike Return With A Brand New Nike Air Max 97 “Menta” Collaboration

Virgil Abloh and Nike are back with a brand new collaborative sneaker, the latest addition of a partnership that has shaped the modern sneaker scene we know today.

We had a first glimpse of the pair back in June and now it appears we have official images of the upcoming Off-White x Nike Air Max 97 “Menta”.

These based boys feature a two-tone grey iupper with a stunning tri-coloured Swoosh of green, blue and red tones.

The rest of the silhouette looks typical of an Air Max 97, with its retro wavy lines along its uppers and the visible Air bubbles on the sole.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an Off-White collaboration without large bits of texts such as “AIR” found on the lateral heel sides.

The pair is expected to drop on November 10, 2018.

Update [4 Sept 2018]: The release for the ACRONYM x Nike Air Presto Mid at Dover Street Market will be pushed back to Sept 20.

Days after ACRONYM’s Errolson Hugh revealed the upcoming collaboration with Nike on the Air Presto Mid, Nike has confirmed release details for the drop in Singapore.

According to Nike SG, the highly-anticipated ACRONYM x Nike Air Presto Mid will be arriving in three colourways on September 20, 2018, at Dover Street Market Singapore for a retail price of S$279.

Besides DSM, Nike.com will also be releasing the shoes online on the same day.

The pair has been touted as potentially being the best sneaker of 2018, featuring new graphical patterns on bold tech-inspired colour options.

The collection comes as a direct follow-up to the highly successful Air Presto collaboration back in 2016 which showcased Errolson’s innovative take on the silhouette.

BAPE x adidas 2019 Collaboration Arrives With Apparel, Cleats and Helmets

After news broke regarding two upcoming BAPE x adidas UltraBOOST pairs next February, it appears that the partnership involves more than just sneakers.

Set to release in conjunction with Super Bowl 2019, the collaboration will be a full fledge collection which includes BAPE’s popular Shark Hoodies, American Football jerseys, cleats and an NFL helmet.

As expected, the pieces will heavily feature BAPE’s camo motif throughout, across the options of green and black colourways.

Here’s Your Best Look Yet at the Upcoming Dragon Ball Z x adidas ZX500 RM “Goku”

Earlier in the year, rumour mills were abuzz about the possibility of a sneaker collaboration between adidas and Dragon Ball Z, the first ever sneaker collaboration for the animated series.

With its impending arrival in the coming weeks, more images of the Goku-inspired has begun to surface in recent months but this the first good look we’ve seen the shoe on-foot.

Sneaker sample collector @solebyjc posted a series of images of the upcoming pair on-foot, showcasing the pair in all its glory including subtle design details.

This includes a Flying Nimbus motif embroidered on the overlays, which is a great callback to the legendary series.

The ZX500 RM has been making waves in recent days for incorporating the aesthetics of the 90s with a contemporary BOOST sole.
