In celebration of the FIFA World Cup on June 14, Virgil Abloh and Nike are dropping two versions of the Nike Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit, sharing the same aesthetics as Abloh’s Nike Mercurial Vapor 360.

Instead of studs, however, both pairs will take on the Zoom Fly midsole, making it street-ready for all for flexing needs, off the pitch.

The uppers, arriving in either Tonal Orange or Black, will feature the polka dots from the Mercurial Vapor 360, which Abloh describes as “strike zones” or areas on the foot to optimise shots.

“I wanted to communicate where a player strikes the ball. So I put dots on the boot,” said Abloh. “If you’re going to strike the ball, your foot-eye coordination is basically the only variance of chance.”

The shoes also arrive in matching coloured shoe bags for that extra sporty feel.

Both pairs will drop in Singapore and Malaysia via Nike.com on June 14 at 9am.
