The hugely anticipated, highly coveted Nike Air Max 97/1 hybrid in collaboration with Sean Wotherspoon has been confirmed for a release in Singapore and Malaysia via Nike.com.
Nike’s official store in Southeast Asia will be releasing the pair on March 24 at 9am, local time.
The pair combines the upper of an Air Max 97 with the sole of an Air Max 1, with vintage hues in corduroy in honour of the 80s.
The drop is expected to be a highly popular one, so be sure to mark your calendars and set your alarms for the drop this Saturday.
Demand for the shoe at retail price will be high given how rare it was just a couple of months ago. Back in November 2017, before the shoe’s limited release in Complex Con, it was auctioned for over US$90,000. Of course, with the wider release, the resell price is expected to drop significantly.
Limited Edt will also be running a ballot for the drop, with every purchase of an Air Max shoe granting each customer an entry. More information on that here.
