If 2017 was defined by collaborations, it looks like 2018 might just be the year of fresh new silhouettes. With adidas and other sneaker labels set to release a slew of new models this year, market leader Nike isn’t resting on its laurels either.
The Swoosh has just officially unveiled the Epic React Flyknit, which boasts Nike’s brand new React “foam reacting cushioning” system to replace EVA foam for its sole unit.
This is the first pair to feature the React technology, which is said to be much softer than its EVA counterparts, with the ability of smoothing out bumps on the road for roadrunners.
The technology has even been tested over 17,000 miles thanks to Nike’s runners and offers greater “energy return” than the Lunar Epic 2.
The pair is set to release on February 22.
