Singapore’s Lepark, a rooftop tapas restaurant-bar and a favourite amongst the nation’s hipster scene, will cease to exist by month’s end.

The closure of the Chinatown bar was out of its owners’ hands however, and comes despite the bar drawing healthy crowds.

As explained on TODAY, the end of its lease and sale of the building in which it resides meant that the decision was out of Lepark’s hands.

Besides being an F&B joint, much of its fanfare and popularity came from its events and live music, and has even played host to a number of photoshoots – especially for those hoping to achieve the “hypebeast” look.

“Where will we go? We have no idea too, many doors are opened, but we want to choose a door that makes sense for all of us – and a safe space that you guys will all wanna call home,” wrote the Lepark team on its Facebook timeline.
