Polaroid Celebrates 80 Years With A New ’70s-Inspired Analog Instant Camera

In celebration of Polaroid’s 80 years of existence, the iconic instant camera makers have launched a new brand called Polaroid Originals, which will be dedicated to retro analog instant photography.

The launch introduced a brand new analog instant camera called the Polaroid OneStep 2, the first analog camera from the company since 2003.

The OneStep 2 is inspired by the late 1970s, evident from the visuals of its launch in the Facebook post below.

The release of the camera will bring newcomers into the world of analog instant photography, while adding new-age gizmos such as USB charging, a self-timer, long-lasting battery and an option to choose from multiple instant films such as colour, black & white and special editions.

The Polaroid OneStep 2 is now available for pre-order from the Polaroid Originals, and will retail for US$99.99. The camera is expected to ship by October 16.

The camera will also come in two colours, either in white or in graphite. For a closer look, check them out below.
