Update: The adidas x Hender Scheme collection will be released in Singapore. Find out more here.
It’s no secret that adidas has been working with Japanese footwear makers Hender Scheme on an upcoming collection, but this is the first time we have a full look at all three silhouettes included in the pack.
In an interview with Highsnobiety, Hender Scheme founder Ryo Kashiwazaki and adidas Originals Senior Design Director Erman Aykurt gave us a closer look at the three beautifully-recrafted pairs of sneakers.
The pairs – an NMD, a Micro Pacer and a Superstar – all receive a rework by Hender Scheme’s workshop using premium goat and cow leather.
Each sneaker takes on the same pastel hues and will be hand-made in Japan. To make it even more coveted, the collaboration will be limited to only 900 pairs in total.
The pairs will drop on September 2 at select outlets including Club 21 in Singapore, priced between US$900-US$1,000.
