The future is now.

Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto‘s take on the Adidas 4D Futurecraft has made its debut at the recent Paris Fashion Week.

The predominantly white silhouette features a fully printed 4D sole, an external lacing system, and hints of leather on the toebox, giving it a premium touch.

Futurecraft 4D is a process that crafts midsoles using light and oxygen – or ‘Digital Light Synthesis’. The technology had previously been restricted to friends and family only – through an extremely limited run of a black sample pair.

No release date is confirmed for the Y-3 Futurecraft 4D as of yet, but expect it to hit stores early next year.
