Nintendo has announced plans to release the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition, a mini version of the beloved console from 1990.

The upcoming console will allow Nintendo lovers to play retro games on HD televisions, with the addition of an HDMI port.

The mini console will feature 21 games including Super Mario WorldSuper Mario KartThe Legend of Zelda: A Link to the PastFinal Fantasy III and Star Fox 2, an unreleased sequel to Star Fox on the original SNES.

The SNES Classic will launch on September 29, with a retail price of US$79.

The release comes as a follow up to last year’s NES Classic Edition, which was considered a huge success.
