Microsoft has finally lifted the veil over its “Project Scorpio” console at E3 2017 earlier today, and its official name is the Xbox One X.
Described by the company as “the most powerful console ever” and “the smallest Xbox ever”, the Xbox One X boasts a ton of upgrades and features that would make any hardcore gamer salivate in their seats.
For instance, the new gaming system will be come with 6 teraflops of graphical power, more than the PS4 Pro’s 4.2 teraflops.
It will also ship with 1TB of storage and an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive for 4K movie playback.
Microsoft has also previously mentioned that 900p and 1080p Xbox One games will be played in native 4K on the Xbox One X, while upcoming titles for the new console such as Forza Motorsport 7 will run at native 4k and at 60 frames per second.
The new Xbox One X will be released worldwide on November 7, with an retail price of S$699 for Singapore. More details on a local release to come.
