Razer is taking its first foray into the world of streetwear collaborations with a bang, partnering with Japanese heavyweight A Bathing Ape.
The collection, aptly named “A Gaming Ape”, will take advantage of both Razer’s and Bape’s expertise, spanning across apparel, gaming peripherals and other gear.
These include a set of tees and a hoodie, alongside the noise-cancelling Razer Opus and DeathAdder V2 mouse.
The collection will launch on December 4, 2020 in the US and December 5, 2020 at 11am (Japan time) on Razer.com and BAPE.com.

Legendary Japanese streetwear brand A Bathing Ape and Italian eyewear label RETROSUPERFUTURE are teaming up on a collection of co-branded sunglasses.
The collection consists of two of RSF’s frames, the Flat Top and the Drew Mama.
BAPE’s signature camo print can be found on the interior of the frames as well as the exterior of the temples on both eyepieces.
This “Made In Japan” series also marks the first time RETROSUPERFUTURE will be manufacturing eyewear outside of Italy.
adidas Originals are teaming up with long term partners A Bathing Ape and Neighborhood, two pioneers in Tokyo’s streetwear scene.
For Spring/Summer 2019, both labels are collaborating with adidas on the POD 3.1 and NMD STLT silhouettes.
On the POD 3.1, motifs and design elements from both brands are etched into the sneaker such as BAPE’s Ape Head and Shark Teeth, alongside NBHD’s skull and crossbones.
The NMD STLT, on the other hand, takes on a more minimalistic approach, with both labels opting for their branding in text form.
The adidas Originals x BAPE x Neighborhood collection will be available from purchase on adidas.com.sg from April 19, 2019.
Both pairs will retail for S$320.

adidas and Japanese streetwear label A Bathing Ape are teaming up for a limited-edition capsule, in celebration of the Super Bowl.
The collection will span across sneakers, football boots, apparel, equipment and accessories.
adidas Singapore has confirmed the drop on our shores, which will take place on Feb 2, 2019.
Items include the adidas Football by BAPE adizero 8.0 cleats (SGD350), which features the iconic BAPE Camo print on the uppers.
The adidas by BAPE UltraBOOST (SGD350) will also be making an appearance in the drop, releasing in two colourways: green and black.
Apparels include a Z.N.E. hoodie (SGD400) and football jersey (SGD300), both decked out in green camo, while accessories like the football helmet and adizero gloves will be part of the release as well.
Following the rumours, leaks and previews of the upcoming BAPE x adidas UltraBOOST, fans of the Japanese streetwear brand have been eagerly awaiting the release of the shoes.
Set to arrive on February 2, in conjunction with Super Bowl Sunday, the upcoming collection will feature two pairs of adidas UltraBOOSTs, decked out in trademark BAPE camo.
Both pairs feature everything you expect from an UltraBOOST sneaker, including Primeknit uppers, BOOST midsoles and Continental outsoles.
The tongue also features a BAPE ape head logo in the colours of the American flag.

No stranger to collaborations, the sacred trio of adidas, BAPE and NEIGHBORHOOD are coming together once again to work on a sneaker collaboration.
This time, the trio have opted for the adidas P.O.D. s3.1 silhouette as its canvas.
The preview of the sneaker showcases a split colour scheme down the middle, with one side in black and the other in white.
BAPE’s iconic shark motif can be found on the lateral sides of the shoes, while its ape logo is laden around the uppers.
Both NEIGHBORHOOD and A Bathing Ape branding are printed between the toe cap and laces.
The pair is expected to drop in early 2019.

Long-time adidas collaborators A Bathing Ape and NEIGHBORHOOD are joining forces once again on a sneaker – this time, on the NMD TS1.
Shawn Lee on Instagram posted images of the co-branded pair, showcasing the sneaker in all its glory.
Both NBHD and BAPE branding can be found right in the centre of the upper, alongside the Kanji characters for Tokyo.
In typical NMD fashion, the sneaker comes equipped with a full BOOST midsole, accompanied by EVA plugs.

After months of speculation and samples, we now have an official look at next year’s BAPE x adidas UltraBOOST collaboration.
Dubbed as the “football” collection, in conjunction with the Super Bowl, will also arrive with cleats, an American football, an NFL helmet, and jersey.
In the spirit of a typical BAPE collaboration, the entire collection features the famous BAPE camo pattern throughout.
The UltraBOOST will feature a camo upper, with a blacked out BOOST midsole, white Three Stripes and metallic gold branding on the heel counter.
HYPEBEAST had an official look at the collection in Japan over the weekend during BAPE’s “XXV” 25th-anniversary exhibition. The upcoming BAPE x adidas UltraBOOST is set to drop next February, in conjunction with Super Bowl 2019.
While previously all we had were rumours and renderings, we finally have an IRL first look at the pair thanks to samples that landed in the hands of @retroshoparis.
The sample is of the olive camo colourway, showcasing the shoe in all its glory including the metallic Three Stripes and blacked out BOOST midsole.
Besides this pair, an all-black colourway is also expected to drop alongside it early next year.
According to previous reports, both pairs are expected to drop on February 2.

After news broke regarding two upcoming BAPE x adidas UltraBOOST pairs next February, it appears that the partnership involves more than just sneakers.
Set to release in conjunction with Super Bowl 2019, the collaboration will be a full fledge collection which includes BAPE’s popular Shark Hoodies, American Football jerseys, cleats and an NFL helmet.
As expected, the pieces will heavily feature BAPE’s camo motif throughout, across the options of green and black colourways.
