Dior and Jordan Brand Reveal Their New Air Jordan 1 Collaboration

Dior has officially lifted the veil of its collaboration with the Jordan Brand at the Fall 2020 Dior men’s show in Miami.

Maison Dior and Dior men Artistic Director Kim Jones revealed that the first silhouette from the Dior x Jordan collection would the iconic Air Jordan 1 High.

The partnership is a timely one, with the Jordan Brand commemorating its 35th anniversary and Dior celebrating its first men’s collection debut in the US.

The silhouette will be made in Italy to “superlative standards”, using fine calf-leather in Dior Gray. The familiar Jumpman Wings logo will also be remixed with the words “AIR DIOR.” Dior branding can also be found on the icy outsoles as well as the usual “Nike Air” tab on the tongue.

The most prominent element however would be the Swoosh, which features the Dior Oblique jacquard motif. The same motif makes an appearance on the insoles.

The limited-edition Air Jordan I High OG Dior sneaker will be available globally in April 2020 in select Dior stores.

Prada & adidas Collaboration Limited to 700 Pairs Worldwide

Herschel’s Collection of Luggage and Carryalls Are Perfect For The Discerning Traveller

The Herschel Supply often gets associated with their popular and ever-reliable backpacks such as the Little America and Heritage, but while their backpacks are still as popular as ever, the brand has been expanding its product offerings and its travel collection encapsulates everything we love about Herschel.

Recently launched, Herschel expanded on its travel line by introducing carryalls including a Travel Daypack, Travel Backpack and Travel Tote. The designs are beautifully minimal, making it appropriate for both business and leisure travel.

Made for the modern traveller, the collection includes well-thought-out features such as 15” padded fleeced-line sleeves for laptop and tablet carriers, stowable backpack straps for those who appreciate a clean silhouette, and luggage trolley sleeves that allow it to sit atop your luggage.

Speaking of luggage, Herschel’s existing hard-shell luggage line perfectly complements your travels with its sturdy exterior and new colourways for the season. These hard-shells come in three sizes, depending on your duration of travel. There are variants that feature bold colours, striking print designs, such as floral on black, and a distinctive night camo.

Herschel Trade Luggage Colourways in Medium & Large

If you normally find yourself in need of a phone charger, the Trade Power Small and Carry-On luggage options feature an internal battery and USB outlet for easy charging.

Pomelo Fashion To Open First Physical Store in S’pore at 313 Somerset

Popular online fashion retailer Pomelo is set to open its first physical store in Singapore in June 2019.

Pomelo’s decision to open an offline store in Singapore was first announced last year but its location wasn’t disclosed.

Hoarding began appearing at Basement 1 of 313 Somerset beside the escalator, indicating Pomelo’s upcoming location and opening date.

The move marks an on-going expansion by the online fashion brand to provide an omnichannel presence for its customers. In fact, Singapore will be the first physical store outside of Thailand for the Bangkok-based company.

The use of the retail space is expected to similar to that of its Thailand stores, which is dedicated for online customers to try on and pick up their purchases.

In that way, customers can pick out their favourites online, try on the pieces and only pay for the ones they leave with.

“Discovery for fashion is going online, where you’re not constrained by having to display the entire catalogue,” Pomelo founder David Jou said last year.

“But e-commerce for fashion is plagued by the problem of returns because the clothes don’t fit or they don’t look good. Having the online-to-offline model cuts down returns because the consumer only buys what they have tried on,” he added.

In light of its upcoming launch, Pomelo Fashion has also begun listing job openings on Jobstreet for the store such as Fashion Sales Advisor and Operations Associate.

IKEA and adidas Are Working Together On A Collection

The pride of Sweden and everyone’s go-to furniture store is on a roll lately with collaborations and it isn’t stopping anytime soon.

After previewing its upcoming partnership with Off-White and announcing another with LEGO, IKEA is now turning to the world of sports and fitness with an adidas team up.

The homeware brand took to Instagram with a video teasing the collaboration. The collection features home sports equipment “for women, by women.”

Given that the IKEA x Off-White collection will only be available in 2020, we won’t keep our hopes up just yet on a nearby release.

Take a look below at the Instagram video tease.

Here’s A Closer Look At The Off-White x IKEA Collection by Virgil Abloh

After it was revealed last year that Virgil Abloh’s Off-White was teaming up with IKEA, we finally have a first look at the collection.

While Abloh himself alongside a variety of sources have been posting teases and glimpses of the collaboration, IKEA has set up a preview alongside the release of several official images.

The preview is currently open at IKEA’s Democratic Design Day at its headquarters in Sweden, giving u our best look yet from what to expect.

The exhibition of sorts features homeware and furniture from the collection, including several floor rugs, chairs, shelving units, bedding and more.

However, IKEA announced that the collection is to only due to drop in 2020, without an exact release date. So we’ll still have to wait before we can pimp out our houses in Off-White.
