Air Jordan 1 “Hyper Royal” Drops in Singapore on April 17

One of the hotly anticipated drops in 2021 is upon us and it’s just around the corner.

The Air Jordan 1 “Hyper Royal” will be released in Singapore on April 17, with a variety of outlets stocking the pair.

The most obvious avenue would be Nike.com, which will be releasing the shoe at 10am. Stocks run out fast though, so be sure to camp the site early.

Limited Edt will also be releasing the hyped pair, with a members only raffle taking place on April 16 from 2pm to 9pm, and an online release for the public at 9am on limitededt.com.

International stores with worldwide shipping are also conducting online ballots, such as END. Clothing and HANON.

Official Images of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Hyper Royal”

Ahead of its expected April 2021 release, official images of the much-anticipated Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Hyper Royal” has surfaced.

While the pair takes on the same construction as with previous Air Jordan 1s, the use and treatment of suede overlays in a faded blue tone makes for an aesthetically fresh take on the silhouette.

Despite the release of official images, a release date has not yet been confirmed, although rumours and reports strongly suggest an April 17 drop.

Without much further ado, take a closer look at the AJ1 “Hyper Royal” below.

Self-Lacing Air Jordan 11s Are Dropping In December 2020

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the launch of the Air Jordan 11, the Jordan Brand will be launching the Air Jordan 11 “Adapt”, equipped with Nike’s self-tightening technology.

Inspired by the fictional self-lacing Nike Mag from Back To The Future, Nike introduced the technology for real in 2016 and has since been incorporated in a range of products including the Adapt BB and HyperAdapt.

The fit of the Air Jordan 11 “Adapt” can be adjusted on a dedicated app, which can also be used to customise the colour and light scheme of the shoe.

The shoe will also come with a charging pad and plug, making the experience of powering them up as seamless as possible.

While the Jordan 11 may seem like an odd silhouette to take on the Adapt technology, there is some significance to its history. Legendary designer Tinker Hatfield originally intended for the AJ11 to be a laceless shoe, so the launch of the Adapt AJ11 is silhouette coming full circle.

The shoe is expected to launch on December 30, 2020.
